AcroYoga w/ Leah Irwin & Chris Filkins
“Psychodelic”
Friday October 24, 2014
Intermediate flow returns this Friday evening at 730 to Laughing Frog Yoga. This week Leah Manga returns to the studio to work with Chris is breaking down Psychodelic for you. We will cover a full set of calibrations to deepen your practice and understanding of this goofy reverse mono star based machine from Seattle Acro and the Acrogasm crew.
Don’t worry if you think this is beyond you. You can work the calibrations with spotting and learn a lot more about how to take your practice to the next level.
Leah is one of most talented flyers in our local kula and brings a daring and solid practice into the studio. This week we will share ways to slow your Psychodelic down to a slow careful pace and then when you feel confident in that to bring it up high and drop it like its hot. Dropping down into the bottom of this transition and flying back up to the top is one of the funnest transitions in the practice. Come to class and learn how to drop it!
The class is $15 for an hour and a half of progressions and instruction followed by an hour and a half of jam.
Bring yourself and a friend if you got em. If you don’t it’s no problem as bases and flyers will be available. Bring water, a mat, and comfortable tight fitting clothes.
This class is held at Laughing Frog Yoga
12217 Santa Monica Blvd Suite 205, Los Angeles, California 90025
