The day after Thanksgiving 2016 on Friday November 25th from 7-10PM the premiere Westside Acro teacher in Los Angeles, Christopher Filkins – a native of New Mexico, will be coming through Albuquerque New Mexico to lead an exploration of movement, partnerships, and communication, & trust. This workshop will focus on expanding skill sets through proper technique & conditioning. Chris’ classes and workshops are known throughout the world with a deserved reputation as a technique maven and big proponent of pushing safety issues into jams and community gatherings where the tricks often overshadow the dangers in which practitioners put themselves.
This workshop is an all levels endeavor but is, as he often does, focused on intermediate to advanced practitioners. Prereqs require the student hold a 15 second handstand against a wall, a headstand in the middle of the room, and a standing half moon pose.
