AcroYoga with Erica Ancier & Chris Filkins
“Needle Point”
Friday November 20, 2015
This week at Westside Acro Chris returns from assisting Lux in his TT just in time to lead an amazing exploration of a brand new washing machine which will blow your mind and change your practice moving forward. This machine was developed originally with some concepts Chris developed with Nick Bower. It continued to be workshopped further with Emily Reuman, Leah Irwin, Kelly Thayer, & Lux Seattleacro. Erica Ancier finally completed the R&D cycle helping to bring these transitions into full needle.
If you’ve seen me working this on the beach at OMB then you know how crazy it is to see happening. So many have asked to be taught when they see these transitions being calibrated. For the first time Chris will be sharing the entire gamut of calibrations necessary to learn these crazy movements.
This thing is very hard and very challenging. But all the details add up to a series of calibrations which will up your game completely.
This will eventually be made into a full video in time for the AcroLove Festival in San Diego at New Year’s. This class with Erica will be your first chance to get this into your repertoire before it hits Youtube where I guarantee you it will seem like magic because the transitions happen so fast and the feet are hidden from view. Come to this class to get these calibrations.
Bring water & tight fitting comfortable non slippery clothing. Bring a mat and a partner if you got em. But don’t worry if you don’t as we got you covered.
Please come!
