AcroYoga with Chris Filkins
“That Fundamental Pop”
Friday April 8, 2016
Chris is back at Westside Acro this week and we are finishing our transition away from the nurturing arms of our studio into more of an independent entity. Things are going to run a tiny bit differently this week but it all should come together nicely.
Friday night at 730PM at Laughing Frog Yoga we will be exploring that fundamental pop which everyone avoids. It’s very challenging. It requires spotting to get comfortable. It works basic positions that most practitioners in our community avoid. And it’s wildly fun when it is nailed down!
Please come. You will be challenged. You will be nervous. You will be nurtured. You will fall. You will be caught. You will be triumphant. You will be grateful.
Class starts at 7:30PM and we hod the space until 1030PM. There will be lots of content, some jamming, and lots of growth.
Class is $15 and includes up to 3 hours of content & jam. The oldest running class series in LA and also the best! Please come!
Bring water & tight fitting comfortable non slippery clothing. Bring a mat and a partner if you got em. But don’t worry if you don’t as we got you covered.

About Westside Acro
We offer beginning and intermediate to advanced adagio focusing on L based acrobatics and low standing work also commonly known as Acro Sport or Partner Yoga on the west side of Los Angeles including the communities of Santa Monica, Venice, West LA, Brentwood, Culver City, Topanga. Our passion is circus style machines and poses. We do AcroYoga for the intermediate in classes held on Friday nights from 8-11. We hold the space for 3 hours and present the most challenging content in Southern California during that period. It’s like a workshop each week for the price of a class. We do AcroYoga for the beginner at noon Saturday at Veda Yoga Center in Culver City CA.
Cost is $18 for both the class and any jam which may follow.
